I have a smile I'm finally proud to show off thanks to Dr Alison McIntosh, and the incredible support staff at Haymarket Dental.Not many people will likely say they enjoy their dental visits, but I genuinely do now. When I signed up with Haymarket Dental I honestly expected to just do my usual routine appointments and that was that. However, Alison took a real interest in "what I wanted", and frankly that was fixing my wonky teeth and gaining that bit of confidence I'd never really gotten from my smile.Invisalign was naturally brought up, but it never felt like a sales pitch. My visits focused first and foremost on my dental health and getting other areas I'd been neglecting sorted first (thank you, I didn't know I was just living with gum pain that was due to a poor filing and my bad cleaning), before we even considered Invisalign.It was a journey, one which required me to really change the way I was looking after myself, but Alison was always reassuring and open to all the questions I had. After my dental health was in a good place I started Invisalign and embarked on something I was always scared to do but finally happy to be doing and today at my final scan I saw just how far I've come and I could not be happier.If you've ever felt about your smile how I felt about mine, then I would absolutely encourage you to reach out to Alison. I have been coming to Haymarket Dental since 2012. Over the last couple of years, I've undergone a programme of Invisalign and composite bonding as my bite was destroying my teeth as well as suffering the effects of historic erosion.Ask my family and friends and they would tell you that I hated my teeth. I didn't enjoy smiling and was so conscious of them.Dr Kiki Norman has - without want of sounding dramatic - changed my life. Her care and attention to detail has given me a smile I never dreamed of. My teeth look straight, healthier, cleaner and stronger and I can't thank Kiki enough. When Kiki unveiled the transformation, I burst into tears (in a good way!!) Now I love smiling and have found renewed confidence. So many people comment on them and it still looks so natural :)My dentist Ally is highly approachable and makes me feel at ease and supported me with the Invisalign referral. I am lucky to have such caring and patient-centred dentists!Haymarket Dental has always had a welcoming and friendly vibe and Sharon and her team also deserve a mention who provide a first-class customer experience and make you feel part of the family. Sharon would even said messages of support through the Invisalign app after completing self-administered scans which was a real boost along the journey.Thank you everybody - you have made visits to the dentist feel both positive and joyful...for the first time ever! Had to find a dentist for an emergency appointment and this place was great. Straight forward, easy to book & competitively priced . Also the dentist that looked after me was amazing. Pedro was kind, thorough and very professional in his approach. I could not have felt more comfortable or confident in his hands. This was great especially given the nature of my visit. Pedro gave excellent advice and plans for the future. If you need a dentist in Edinburgh I highly recommend this place. Thank you

Andrew Crawford attended Haymarket Dental on the 3rd MarchThe surgery has just been refurbished and looks absolutely fantastic. Very comfortable waiting area and the toilets definitely deserve a visitAndrew's dentist is Pedro who is very good at putting nervous patients completely at their ease. I was recommended Haymarket Dental by a friend and I’m so glad I listened to them!! I had the best experience from start to finish - the actual practice itself is absolutely gorgeous and the reception girlies are some of the loveliest people ever, SO helpful and friendly.I saw Doctor Nash who recommended me the Invisalign treatment for my overlapping/ squint front teeth. Doctor Nash was warm, friendly and so professional - an absolute expert every step of the way. He tailored each step of the process to suit my every need and was always on standby for any questions or advice. The entire process was far quicker and easier than anticipated and I ended up actually looking forward to my appointments - a bold statement from someone who’s always hated the dentist!Dr Nash’s personal approach really made this experience for me and I couldn’t be happier with my new smile! Can’t recommend this practice enough :)

Alison is a wonderful, kind and gentle dentist who always goes above and beyond. She has been our family dentist for more than twenty years and we followed her to Haymarket Dental as we simply couldn't have found better treatment and care. Although we have since moved 25 miles away it is more than worth the commute. Alison is outstanding with nervous patients and has helped us with a range of issues over the years, always thinking of innovative solutions, with great thought and flexibility. Talking us through and explaining treatment options that address individual needs with dignity, and allowing time for questions and reassurance. When my children were little Alison was so lovely with them and had an excellent children's rights approach, always speaking directly to them and always remembering what was going on in their lives and showing an interest in their wider wellbeing. It feels more like visiting an old friend than a trip to the dentist. We appreciate her warm and gentle care so much. The dental nurses are all extremely efficient and very kind and the wider practice staff are always friendly, super helpful and very accomodating. I could not recommend Alison or this practice enough.

I had my composite bonding and whitening done from Kiki over a year ago now, the difference at the time was unbelievable and still looks the exact same now. She is amazing at what she does and I'd highly recommend her to anyone and already have recommended her to a fewNash is also my dentist in the practice who is great, he gives you a lot of good detail after check ups/treatments, makes you feel at ease and is someone I really trust with my teeth

During the crossing from the Netherlands to Newcastle, I developed a toothache. Treatment was necessary. Upon arriving at the hotel in Edinburgh, I looked for the nearest dentist and went in as early as possible the next morning to ask if they could help me. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The assistant immediately checked if there was room, and fortunately, due to a cancellation, I was able to be seen immediately. The costs were clearly discussed in advance. Afterward, I could easily pay online and received a digital invoice. I also received the x-ray by email for my own dentist's information.The dentist in charge, Dr. Andrew Norman, acted decisively, was empathetic, and calmly and clearly explained what was going on and what he was going to do. I was able to continue my tour of Scotland without any pain.

Nervous patient here, historic painful experiences at the dentist. Andrew was very understanding. Took great care to explain the process comprehensively and clearly. Have to praise the assistant too, so caring. The whole process (a fairly complicated onlay) was pain free and done in a day. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I recently had composite bonding done by Dr Kiki Norman. I cannot be happier with the result! The entire experience was professional, comfortable and surprisingly enjoyable. Dr Norman took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, explained everything clearly, and delivered results that exceeded my expectations. The bonding looks so natural - seamlessly blended and beautifully shaped. I can’t stop smiling! If you are considering cosmetic dental work, Dr Kiki Norman is the best!

I recently visited Haymarket Dental for a check up and then treatment. On arrival I was met with very friendly reception staff which was very welcoming.My assessment and treatment was completed by Nash. The assessment was very thorough and he spent his time discussing his findings and treatment options. When it came to the treatment Nash made me feel at ease, he explained the treatment in further detail and made sure I was comfortable throughout (as comfortable as you would expect from dental treatment).Overall I definately recommend seeing Nash and visiting Haymarket Dental.

I recently had a number of appointments at Haymarket Dental as I had not seen a dentist in a few years and was in serious need of treatment. The receptionists were very helpful and friendly on the phone in organising an appointment on short notice. I was seen by Pedro who was wonderful - he was very clear in explaining all stages of the work, answered all questions I had and put me at ease throughout. All the work was done with precision and care and my teeth have a new lease of life! I'll be returning for future appointments.

The best experience from the beginning - with advice and options…. all way to the end- with one happy proud smile.I had a silver crown replaced which Andrew treated and replaced with great care and reassurance throughout the procedure. Today, I went back to have an implant fitted and again, had complete reassurance it was going to be fine. He gave time to answer all questions with reference to scans to help me understand more.Would 100% recommend- also just the loveliest staff in their dental practice!

I’ve been attending Haymarket Dental Practice for a number of years, with Andy Norman continuing to keep my teeth in excellent condition, with valuable advice and help to me and my family.Today I had a double appointment to remove an old NHS metal crown, and a 30 year old front crown.The resulting porcelain crowns are fantastic, especially my front one which is an exact replica of my other front tooth in shape and colour.I can definitely recommend Andy and his team without question.

I was so apprehensive and a sceptical about getting whitening and composite bonding, but the results just blew me away! Credit to everyone at Haymarket Dental. My only regret is that I didn’t find Dr Kiki Norman years ago!

Tooth agony after receiving great advice from Andrew Norman got root canal treatment. After 3 visits the treatment has been successful the procedure was well explained throughout Wasn't painful and even got to see my x-ray at end with a explanation on what happened Andrew put me at ease during the treatment . After doing some research online, I decided to enquire about composite bonding and teeth whitening. Dr Kiki and Emma have been truly amazing. I highly recommend them as they won’t disappoint! With their help they have allowed me to achieve my perfect smile, making me feel so much more confident in myself. Would like to say Andrew done a fantastic job repairing my implant which had a fractured screw. He done an amazing job removing the broken screw from implant and tooth and fitting new screw. His expertise saved me a lot of money being able to save implant that was fitted in 2014 and not having to have a new implant done. Andrew is a superb dentist and would highly recommend him. I've been with Haymarket Dental for many years. Sharon and the reception staff are always very welcoming and the dentists who have treated me are very caring and knowledgeable. I've always had a big fear of going to the dentists but they along with the dental nurses have saint like patience with me and make sure I am comfortable at all times and I know most of all they care about my oral health. They offer lots of advice on what I should be doing at home to maintain good teeth and gums and have some good chat to help make the experience to make the visit more enjoyable.
