Treatment Inner Image - Haymarket Dental

Wrinkle correction treatments are one of the easiest ways to reduce the classic signs of ageing – wrinkles and lines.

Our facial aesthetics treatments are performed by dentists who have comprehensive training in medical aesthetics.

Why our patients love Wrinkle Correction treatment

  • Skin-enhancing treatment – At Haymarket Dental, we believe in using wrinkle correction to enhance your skin, not change it completely beyond recognition. We will use the muscle-relaxing substance sparingly to achieve natural results for your skin and facial composition.
  • Non-surgical and minimally invasive – Wrinkle correction doesn’t involve any surgical processes, and a very fine point is used.
  • The most popular treatment out there – Despite the introduction of hundreds of different treatments to the aesthetics market, wrinkle correction treatments have remained the most popular treatment for anti-ageing.

The Wrinkle Correction process

Step 1: Consultation

Your skincare journey starts with a consultation. This is an informal chat about what you hope to achieve with treatment, and for us to assess if you are medically suitable. Your consultation is a great opportunity for you to find out if we are a good fit for you and to have your questions answered.

Step 2: Planning your treatment

Your aesthetician will identify where wrinkles have formed and whether these are static or dynamic wrinkles. They will explain how the treatments will soften the wrinkles present.

Step 3: Administering the muscle-relaxing treatment

The muscle relaxant is administered with a very fine point. A numbing cream is applied to reduce any discomfort.

FAQs

How long do the results last for?

The results of treatment can last 3 to 4 months.

How can I maximise the results of treatment?

We recommend regular top-ups every 4 months to maintain the original results of treatment.

Avoiding UV damage and refraining from smoking will also help to slow down the onset of wrinkles, and we recommend using prescription skincare moisturisers and serums to lock moisture into your skin daily.

What is the recovery time?

Minor bruising and swelling can last for up to a week. You can resume your normal activities right after treatment.

However, we recommend refraining from strenuous exercise, which can increase your heart rate and blood flow and cause the muscle relaxant to migrate to other areas of skin.

I have been there for 15 years! Andrew is fantastic at giving painless applications and has a very professional and warm attitude towards the patients. I would give higher than 5 stars if I could.
